Drømme is a non-alcoholic cocktail brand. I partnered with Audrey Elise to design their website, focusing on a moodier aesthetic, highlighting their photography and illustrations, and bringing out the strong typography from the art direction. We also designed the shopping experience, with an emphasis on making sure everything worked from desktop to mobile devices.

MANTL is a men's skincare brand, co-founded by Karamo Brown from Netflix's Queer Eye. My role on this project was to create a welcome, easy-to-use, and responsive e-commerce experience. I wanted to make use of the provided photography, carry the logo mark into some of the details, and add a bit of interactivity through things like the morning and night routine steps.

Southport Boats is a Maine-based boat manufacturer, with a range of models for both fishing and cruising. I re-designed their website, using the brands' neutral colors and use of spacing and type to impart a luxury feel.

Castanea is a private-equity firm with a range of popular consumer brands in their portfolio. As part of their rebrand, we re-designed their website, focusing on highlighting their brands interactively, tell their founders' stories, and showcase the Castanea team. I also used overlapping elements to give pages more depth and visual interest to differentiate Castanea from other firms.

I'm Johnny, a designer that loves solving design problems and the instant gratification of working digitally. I'm currently doing product design at Quickbase, with the occasional freelance projects focused on work that taps into my 5 years of agency experience.
I got my start (like many people in the early aughts) playing around in Geocities, customizing AIM profiles, and making sigs on message boards. What began as a hobby led me to Purdue University, where I graduated with a double major in industrial design and visual communications design. From there, I worked at a design agency and transitioned into focusing into digital products.
In my free time, you can find me on the basketball court, shooting and editing photos, or hunting for a bowl of ramen somewhere.
